Science is about observation and reproduction of the same phenomenon under the same conditions. Science is being logical and rational.

Spirituality starts where rationality ends. Spirituality has a few abstract and unproven set of assumptions around which every spiritual leader builds his own universe.

Spirituality over time, and after it acquires sufficient mass and gathers mass following becomes religion. In religions evolution it is pertinent to note that, successive generation of followers become more and more dogmatic. And eventually a sense of superiority and rigidity starts creeping in.

Therein lies the seeds of conflict, which have been happening since ages, to impose superiority of one dogma over the other. One religion over the other.

And in this battle between different religions, science and scientific temper is the casualty.
