Early summer

Nights are pleasant

Not too cold

nor too warm

Sky is clear and

free of clouds

Dry and a soft breeze,

moves around

Stars try to shine,

across the haze

Of the glowing

urban nights

Street looks calm,

barring a few.

Lonely souls

On nightly stroll.

A few young girls,

giggle and laugh

Some loud teens,

shout and jabber.

A couple in love,

hide in a corner

And speak in silence

Of their eyes

A night bloom blooms

somewhere in the dark

Night breeze scattering

their fragrance around

And as one gazes

from the earth to the sky

There lies bang,

In the middle of night

The shining

half moon wonder.
