The world sometimes
Comes crashing down
And the debris start
To float around

With nothing to hold
To stay upright
I start to fall
In a deep ravine

Then I close my eyes
And open the door
The back door
Of my minds house

And stumble into a
Sun kissed beach
Waves lapping gently
Around my feet

And I retreat back
Into the haven safe
Till storm outside
Has died out

For past few days
Have a foreboding fear
That someday as I
Open the door

I’ll see that a storm has
Entered inside
And shattered to pieces
My last refuge
