When I turn around
And look back at life
I see some stars
Shining bright
Hiding in darkness
Deep and wide

I look ahead
To take a step
A veil of darkness
Blocks my way
Afraid as I
I toss it aside
And move from darkness
Into the light

A river of stars
In the valley of light
Spreading colours
On mountain sides
Rainbows growing
In colourful soil
Falling stars
In their flight
A haunting score
Lilting voice
An unheard tune
Tingling my mind

Floating gently
In shimmering light
Peace I dreamt of
Finally arrives
