Summer rain
Somewhere at the peak
Mid summer heat
As blazing sun
Keeps pouring down
Somnolent winds
Somehow gather speed
Send the clouds
Hurtling in the sky
Thundering loud
As they collide
They send some sparks
Down to the earth
And before one can
Feel the goings on
Trees start swaying
In a violent dance
Leaves and twigs
Everything light
Takes to the air
In a drunken flight
Suddenly as it started
Everything stops
As scattered drops
Start falling down
Gentle at first
Then in torrents
Pounding furiously
The dazed earth
