Pedigree
What one thinks
Of dogs at large
Looks or size or
Tricks performed
Do they guard
Sniff out drugs
Or buddies great
For lonely ones
As one searches
More and more
Finds dogs are
More like us
Like us they do
Bark or bite
Smile and dance
Speak with eyes
Laze in the sun
Chase butterflies
Run after cars
They won’t drive
But we do what
Dogs never do
Pride ourselves
On tricks we do
And our fancied
Pedigree

A beautiful poem. Analogy with dog. Good one ☝️
