Forgetting one’s journey

People often forget their journey

On reaching the destination

Rousing applause, deafens their ears

Erasing every sound, they had heard before

Forgetting conveniently, where they began

Number of times

They had to change their plans

Their mistakes and follies and the help they received

With loads of much needed encouragement

Now wearing crown of glamour and fame

They look down with contempt

Make fun of them

Those who have began, with baby steps

The journey to create, achieve something
