Raining Hate
Sometimes feel
An umbrella or raincoat would be handy
Or maybe I should just stay at home
For it’s raining heavily
Not raindrops
But animus and hate
Can’t see anything through the mist
Of deceptions and myths
And above all that a threat
Unpredictable
Of vengeance striking from the sky
It’s not the strikes that terrify
Nor getting lost in the mist
Just don’t want the hate
To soak my soul

How nice it would be if we learned to live as one global community, without prejudice, without hate.

Yes. But politicians won’t allow that.
