Castles In The Sand

Deep in the waters, pushing it aside

A patch of land seemed to rise

On that island, a castle was built

By king who had won, every land to be seen

Figured he could rule, even the vast sea

What is sea, just water that’s wide

Who else could tame it, gloated with pride

But then see is sea, waited till he reached

The mightiest castle, that was ever built

Released its waves, it had held so far

With vengeance that was, extremely bizarre

For months that grew, into many more years

No one from castle, could escape anywhere

By the time sea’s anger, had tempered down

Waves toned back, to a gentle frown

The king was dead, mighty castle in ruins

A time comes when, one can’t win anything
