Does it matter
Sky never changes
That lies high above
Clouds hanging thin
Thick or dark
Trudge one may
Across valleys and hills
Cross wide rivers
Sand dunes or woods
Walking upright
For miles and miles
Has to lay down supine
To rest for a while
Counting same stars
In the same old sky
Has one traveled ahead
Have things really changed
Are the gains huge and tall
And losses too small
All seems inane
In darkness of the night
