Obituary
Well it’s hard to reveal
What one has lost
Means explaining
How much and why
That’s difficult
Yet needs to be expressed
Remembrance is cathartic they say
So I began
Just a few days back
It was there with me, rather inside me
Colouring whatever I saw
With unseen shades, pastel and alive
Revealed rainbows
That every person had
Planting joys and smiles
In grass and rocks and shapeless clouds
The worth of which, have realised now
When it’s lost and forever gone
That fragile and naive, innocence
