Looking back when I describe my life

To an audience young

Rapt in attention

Choosiest words come to my mind

Like,

Scaled mountain and deep ravines

Shed sweat and blood in my prime

It has been a focused pursuit

Of what I wanted to be

Inside I know, not a shred is true

Its the audience young

That’s making me flow

In a lofty patronising voice
