Most of us face this situation in life. Some more than once. No one is spared.
Expectations
Someday someone
May be a family
Or a colleague or subordinate
It doesn’t matter who
Came up and indignantly said
You never been there
For me
When I needed you most
It hurt and stunned, at the same time
Couldn’t find any right words
Worst was, they had never witnessed
My walking on, red hot embers
Trying not to fall
Make a mess of myself
But then, in a way they are right
I have not even met my own
Can I meet every others
Expectations

Such a sad truth of life.
Yes but face it, we have to. Even when we are fighting our own battles, expectations don’t stop.
And sometimes these things can happen, when one is at their weakest, emotionally, mentally or physically.
Yes, that’s how it often happens. I think expectations kill relationships.
Again yes and no. Howsoever we glorify our relationships, some amount of expectations always creeps in and keeps on rising if they are catered to promptly.
Problem is instead of giving a helping hand when needed, some people expect help. That is a scenario that stumps me.
Been dealing with a lot of patients with psychosomatic illnesses. And most of the time the reason is, unreasonable expectations from a person who actually requires help. They pushes them off the edge.
Many mental health issues arise when too much pressure is put on a person by those who are supposed to care for them.
Yes 100%
One should invent ways to shrug of unrealistic expectations.
Yes absolutely.

Expectations are like bartered policy.
Yes. But the barter can remain incomplete. One giving and other not giving back.
True Shashi ji…you won😊👍💐
Haha. It’s not question of winning or loosing. It’s just a exchange of experiences we have gone through.
The feeling is mutual shashi.👍🖊
