Saw myself in the mirror
After a very long time
Looked tired and worn 
Dark hair turning silver

From the corner of the eyes
Flew spider lines
And the expanding forehead
Was truly a sign

Age did catch up 
When the going is good
And I look back on life
And things I had missed

As I stand back and watch
My trophies and laurels
I wonder if the bargain
Has really been good
