Someday the virus will,
stop its flight.
And hospitals will pause,
And proudly announce,
That they have finally,
won the war.
The lockdown will end,
people set free.
To pray at the alter
Of the money God.

The day this ends
We may forget these days
Jubilant at the world
Starting again

The breath of air,
clean and pure.
And the leisurely lingering,
pace of life.
Families whole,
along with their pets,
Bonding together,
like never before.

Have we gained
Or lost it again
What we have been always
yearning for.
