Pandemic

Few days ago he said, he was alive and well

Cooped up at home, it felt like in jail

Said he had lost, what was saved over years

Life had been hard he could no more bear

Tomorrow won’t be different he groaned and moaned

There was no glory, staying locked at home

The face cloth deprived him, of much needed air

Strong as he was, he should have no fear

Just heard him call, from some hospital bed

Can’t breathe very well, something’s in the air

He had many tubes, running across everywhere

Felt he won’t make it, he could see his death
