Noon Time at work place

We often sit down

For a cup of tea

After a hectic morning

Has gone through us

Resting our legs, backs and minds

As tea is poured into tiny cups

And then it begins

With a few stale jokes

Few funny incidents

That happened just before

Rest throwing darts

At their favourite targets

Of devilish puns

And playful fun

The giggling starts growing

Into loud laughter

And amidst all the guffaws

The tea gets cold

But we never gather

For tea anyways
