Should have got an Oscar

For roles I have played

Portraying characters

In varied scenes

From a script that was never

Known to me

Sadness to despair

Anger to rage

Fun and laughter

I’ve reigned supreme

But every act

Had taken its toll

Has chipped at the heart

Picked at my soul

Now a fatigue has set in

For the histrionics
