What I See
After daylight spent in your thoughts
Night is a string of, flowing dreams
You smile in one, tease in another
Laugh and giggle, like bells in the wind
Sometimes you talk, sometimes just stare
Whisper something I could never hear
You’re always there, in every frame
In every dream, asleep or awake
Wish you knew, what I always see
In light of day, when I close my eyes
Or open them wide, in dreams at night
A thought then raises, it’s vicious head
Like snake in garden, of lost eden
Will you stop, flashing your smile
Moment my eyes, fail to conceal
What my dreams are made of
