Nothing Ever Stays
Nothing much to log in the records
Not gained anything
Nor lost, what was mine
Realisation has seeped in
Through countless cracks
Left by wilting roots of hope
That once thrived
In a sham of a world
That had felt so true
That nothing ever stays
Not even, in the fist of your palm
Though the churning won’t stop too soon
Pain, pleasure and joy, mixed in a goo
Fermented over time, froth rising over top
Foul vapours reaching
Every crevice of the mind
Enlightening once again, in a flash
That it’s time to empty and clean oneself
For no one or nothing ever stays
And even if they stay, hang around
Will almost always turn, hopelessly foul

It’s not big. Anything good needs to be shared with others.

Yes. Sometimes the darkness hidden inside, needs to be released. Or else it can consume the light.
