Acceptance

Acceptance

Bitter or sweet, life is a gift

Taste and smell or try to chew

In the end one has to swallow it

There’s a glory great, in acceptance

The wise men say, I repeat

Hoping to soften the falling blows

But those noble thoughts, someday snap

Questions arise, from their knots

How much more, for how long

Why I am chosen, for what wrong

When I ask, those sitting high

Petulant oracles, feasting on joy

An uncomfortable silence

Is all that I hear

Just a deafening silence

Is all that I hear

    • It’s not about them or us. Sometimes we just can’t understand why we are at the receiving end of life. We all commit our share of mistakes. But they don’t deserve this harsh judgement. Not talking about myself. But overall. As a doctor seen many people only suffer in their lives. Can’t explain. Can’t understand.

      • Since I believe in God, so I believe that we all have our share of trials in this life not punishment. Some others can see like illness or bad fortune while some are hidden from others like inner turmoil.
