Sometimes
I walk the streets at night
In a search of that elusive
Solitude
Not all nights
Only those rare ones
When a melancholy moon
Wades its way
Through a flock of puffy clouds
And not eclipsed by lively stars
Pale yellow of moon reaches ground
Illuminating nothing
Some time on those walks
In some inattentive numb moment
A deepest kind of solitude arrives
Serendipitously
Spreading a soothing darkness
That clears your minds
Full to brim

I agree with you. Long back I came across this quote and it has remained with me.
“Not by appointment do we meet delight Or joy; they heed not our expectancy; But round some corner of the streets of life they of a sudden greet us with a smile.”
— Gerald Massey
Wow. Is a profound quote. Thanks for sharing
