I see you in dreams sometimes

Maybe not all the time

But whenever I remember them

You are all that I see

You may not know

Nor will ever know

But you help me survive

Summers that threaten to burn

And winters that freeze to death

Sometimes it’s enough to dream

Of love that’s worthwhile
