Drowning deep
In waters dark
Don’t know where
The bottom is
Nor where safety
Of surface lies
The water deep
Holds me tight
Pushing me up
For gasping breaths
Then pulling down
To suffocate more
Lost in a limbo
Hanging there
Between gasping life
And suffocating death
I am totally lost
