Just Like That
Won’t say I walked for miles
In knee deep snow, rock and soil
Nor would say, I flew across
Travelling half the globe
Would say just like that
In a moment casual and prosaic
Was standing alone on the top
Stunned into a treasured defeat
Before I could, gather my wits
Open eyes to vistas unseen
Took a pause deliberate and long
To blend in the frozen scene
