Rats in my Room
There’s rats in room
Scampering at night
Hiding on windows
Behind the blinds
Making a dash
Across the floor
From the dresser
To the wardrobe
Peep from books
In the bookshelf
Poke their nose
From below the bed
Fat with long
Thick ugly tails
Gliding on wheels
Of tiny legs
They hide they run
Dodge my aim
As I keep throwing
Things at them
And I don’t know
Who’s more scared
Rats on the floor
Or me on the bed
