Life keeps ripping
With hammer and tongs
Trying to carve
A statue out
You keep loosing
Lots of pieces
And bear the blows
With a stoic mind
Afraid to shout
For life may stop
And leave it’s job
Half undone
And life goes on
Hammering its blows
Till all that remains
Is bits and dust
