Simple Moments

Simple Moments

Life is a series of moments small

As time keeps rolling down the fall

That make or break dreams held for long

And lot many desires of one’s life

Most of the moments are trivial and plain

Take us neither here nor there

Yet those are unstained naked and plain

We mostly manage to pass them by

Of dew drops sliding down a leaf

Chirping birds on window sill

Rows of ants scurrying for food

Or a lonely cloud in the blue sky

In these moments pristine and pure

We can see everything clear

Our vision not coloured by our dreams

Nor desires tainting our rising thoughts
