This is a translation of my poem in Marathi “अव्यक्त”. Which I have posted just before this post.

Unexpressed
Mind is clouded
With a dark thick fog
Pervading deep
In all my thoughts
Nothing is clear
Nothing can be seen
Lost are the words
Or hiding somewhere
I want to speak
Convey a lot
Bottled up emotions
Need to be uncorked
Before they start
Burning the insides
But words don’t form
Don’t come out
And tongue is a prisoner
Of closed tight lips
Eyes though speak
Convey everything
No one bothers
No one’s there
Who’ll have a look
And decipher them

Beautifully written Shashi. Our words fail us at important times.
Yes. Emotions can be so overpowering that we fail to produce the apt words. Conveying our anger, frustration or may be joy.
Edited few lines a bit to adjust the meter and flow.
Very true, specially if a person is emotional type
