Waters Muddy

Waters muddy

The already deep and murky waters

Where the mud and sand of differences

Had settled down

Over a long time of peace

The ever widening knowledge’s rays

Could almost reach the bottom

Where wisdom and prosperity thrived

Touching everyone’s life

But then ideal situations can’t last long

By definition they should not be existing

At least in a practical realm

There had to be someone

Or many of them

Who’s hunger grows beyond

What the system can provide

And they shake the water

Agitate it

With earthquakes and tsunamis

Of religions and ideologies

And if nothing else

Then fabricated grievances and resentment

Largely unjustified

Turning the waters dark

With rising mud and sand

Ejected by the the disturbed calm

Of relative peace.
