Sometimes what we consider as bad luck can turn out to be a boon.
A World Far Above
Far away from city
Had gathered to celebrate
The moment evening began
There was an outage
With no electricity and range
Most mobiles had gone dead
Had to sit down for dinner
Along with candle flames
Moon had turned its back
So dark was the night
Stars but were overjoyed
At absence of bright light
The sky was their stage
Studded with million lights
Each one winking
A slightly wicked smile
As gaze meandered across
Lingering at those dots
The vast depths of dark
Froze all my thoughts
Time shortened and it stretched
In undulating waves
Mind floated on an expansive
Serene delicious state
Minutes and hours went by
Nothing seemed to have changed
Just stars in their trot
Had shifted a bit their place
Couldn’t pull away my eyes
They showed me quite a lot
There’s a world out there to seek
If one is willing to watch
A world of tranquil peace
Without bickerings or brawls
A world too far above
Cheap and frivolous thoughts

What an amazing sight it must be. Lucky you 🤩
Yes. It was a sight to see
I can imagine. I had this opportunity when we went to a hilly area where they didn’t had electricity.
It’s beautiful at night at such places. The stars look so clear and abundant. That one is lost for hours just watching them.
Absolutely 👍🏼
👏🏼🤩
Thanks for this idea.Anita
