Fantasyland

Fantasyland

Was maybe eight or ten old

Don’t remember it exact

Had a lot of fantasies

Building rocket was on the top

Had thought of using tin sheets

Lying around as scrap

Cram them with fire crackers

That took off in the sky

A place for me to sit

That’s all I could think

Didn’t think of any controls

Felt taking off was enough

About air to breathe

And safely landing back

Funny it never touched me

My ignorance was state of art

Now information is on fingertips

Of even the tiniest of kids

What about their imagination

Does it still run amok
