They will talk about terrorism or religion or lack of safety or failure of intelligence or local and
international politics or our neighbouring country’s involvement. They will have their own opinion and even
matching facts to support them.
who had planned their trip, months in advance. Who had packed their bags with bright clothes, woollens, shoes,
goggles, etc., for taking good pictures. Who, didn’t forget their cameras, SD cards, mobile chargers and even
took care to include some snacks in their bag for between the meal cravings. Who talked endlessly with their
acquaintances about their upcoming vacation and finally as the day arrived they boarded their flights or
trains, anticipating a beautiful vacation.
As they reached the heaven on earth, they got busy in soaking in the idyllic surroundings and the unending
expanse of almost untouched nature ….. and as they were submerged in one of their most beautiful moments,
carefully aimed bullets pierced their skull and shattered the life inside. Carefully aimed bullets that put a
full stop to a life and at the same time, pushed their near and dear ones into a living hell.
This is so very tragic Shashi. I’m so sorry for the loss of innocent lives.
