Pearls
A tender leaf
All decked up with
Glistening drops of
Morning dew
It shivers unconsciously
In the waning chill
Tiny orbs
Of crystal liquid
Roll and merge
With nearby siblings
Fluidly
Some spheres wobble
Some stay still
Each one reflecting
Whatever they see
Trees sky sun
And a few even me
As the leaf waits patiently
For a gust of wind
To launch its precious
Wealth of pearls
In the air
Absolutely free
