Reality

reality

sometimes looking around me

in a transient detached state

things start looking different

than they are

makes me think about everything

what I do, eat and wear

what I like, what I hate

what I dream of

what I avoid like a plague

realising most of my thoughts are

contrived and fake

somewhere between living on trees

and living a sophisticated life

along with our tails

reality has been lost

and far away from left, right

and their ideological might

far away from manufactured prides

injustices and plights

far away from faiths

that are weaponised

and dreams

that are commercialised

somewhere between all this

somewhere as parts of one whole

somewhere as yet

waiting to be seen and heard

lies the real world
