Unending Search

Unending Search

In moments that felt like years

A strange new taste flirted with lips

Tongue went on edge

Eager to sense

Flavours lips whispered to it

A distinct fragrance

Subtle and faint

Blossomed to wane

Gone before one could savour it

A glance at that face

That dimmed the crowd

Shining bright amongst it

The search had ended

I strongly felt

Not knowing it had just began

That face was lost in moment next

Never to be ever seen
