Show up sweet flower

Where have you been

I’ve searched the garden

All shrubs and trees

Even asked butterflies

If they have seen

Beautiful colours

Brighter than their wings

Asked honey bees

They’ve gathered from it

The sweetest nectar

Heavens could dream

Asked the wind

Has it sniffed anywhere

A whiff of a fragrance

Sensuous and faint

They all said

It just can’t be

A single flower

Can’t have everything

But know you’re there

Hiding from the world

Waiting for me

To hold you and caress

And kiss the sweetest

Nectar on earth

As the fragrance wild

Lulls me in a daze
