Icing on the Cake
I imagine you moving around
Teasing me touching me
And the moment I try to touch
Fade away gently in the surrounding air
Yes I think of you most of the times Not all the times to be honest There are so many chores to do So many targets to reach So many responsibilities to attend to And earn my bread and eat it too
And yet I think of you Whenever I have time Whenever I have nothing to do Whenever I am in the shower Changing into clothes Playing with my food In between tasks and in between talks That I sincerely don’t like to do
I see you as the cake The icing on it As the flaming candles that dance to the music That plays whenever you enter my mind And I feel calm and content At least at that moment Whenever I am thinking about you Though I want more Don’t know how much more More and less lose their meaning When it comes to you

A very insightful poem
