Lion and Rat

It’s deafening to the lion
Not to others
The sound doesn’t escape far
Gets trapped in its mane
Echoing in its ears
Making the lion proud
Of itself
Hiding behind some stones
A rat closes its tiny ears with its tiny paws
And prays to God
Please turn the lion to a wolf
Cats love to eat rats
Wolves don’t
At least dogs don’t
And both are related
